The CCA began in 1968 when Black and white residents worked together to support successful neighborhood integration. Today, volunteer neighbors continue that spirit through civic advocacy, events, communication, beautification, and community giving.
Residents can expect a welcoming place to connect, useful neighborhood information, and a practical bridge to city services.

Arts in the Park
CCA's signature annual event is one of Richmond's beloved arts festivals—and our largest fundraiser. Hundreds of artists, thousands of visitors, and a small army of neighborhood volunteers make it happen.
